I called to talk with my friend Milt and just found out about his passing. He was a friend that I will never ever forget. We knew each other through Optimist events. Many wonderful times together with both Milt & Pat. Rest in peace my friends.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I worked with Milt when he was at Horace Mann and I was at First National Bank Trust Department in Securities.  He was one of the nicest men I know and have worked with through the years.  Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of bereavement.

Milt and I were fellow Optimists, although in different clubs. He lived the Optimist spirit to the fullest, participating in numerous events over the years in projects helping kids. He will be sorely missed. My sympathies to his surviving family.

My apologies on the generational mistake in yesterday's posting. Though we met Milton and Pat through the Bauer's, it was Ted and Mary French who often played cards with my grandparents. My sympathy.

My sincere condolences to Milton's children and extended family. We lived next door to Milton and Pat for about 4 years on Douglas. He was so easy to talk to, had a great sense of humor, and had great advice on home repairs. Such a kind man that I know will be truly missed.

I wanted to share my condolences.  I knew Milt as a Y member and as the coordinator for many years of the Big Brother Big Sister event held at the Y for "Littles" who did not have a Big yet.  His heart was as big as his smile.  He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Wiggers family.I only met Milt on a few occassions at Optimist District meetings a few years back. He left a lasting impression on me as a real gentle man. He spoke in a soft easy way and showed deep interst in what others had to say. A real gentleman.

Milt was my boss at Horace Mann in the 80's.  He led by example and I will always remember his laugh.  He loved his family and was a very proud father. My condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathy to the Wiggers family in this time of loss. I grew up working summers with Doug on Milton's brother Kendall's farm. The Wiggers family has been an extension of my own family for many years , Many great and cherished memories. May the comfort of Gods promise of eternal life ease your bitter loss knowing he is with his Family in paradise and we will again see them some day.God Bless and keep.

  Milt was a great man,  I used to work at Horace Mann with him, he will be sadly missed.

My condolences. I knew Milt from a number of the Englehorn family reunions; most recently the one his family hosted in Springfield in 2010. He was genuinely warm and caring. He always had a smile and a helping hand. I am very glad that I had the chance to know him.

A fine family man who will be greatly missed.  We were neighbors many years and enjoyed good times with he and Pat.

I lived across the street from Milt and Pat for several years.  They were both so friendly and helpful, especially when my second daughter arrived. I remember them fondly, My thoughts are with their family at this sad time. Hold them in your hearts.

I met Milt when I was President of the Taylorville Optimist Club in 1990. He was kind and helpful to me and he was decade to District Optimist.  He was friendly to everyone. Rest in peace, my friend Milt.
