She was born in Springfield on October 29, 1965, the daughter of Gerald and Wanda (Goff) Overby. Mischelle married Brad E. McMurray on October 23, 1993.
Mischelle worked for Horace Mann, Midwest Microfilm, and the State of Illinois. She treasured spending time with her family and cherished furry friends. Mischelle was always affectionate with children, and they loved being around her. She was affiliated with St. Agnes Parish.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mischelle is survived by her husband, Brad; son, Jordan McMurray; daughter, Gina McMurray; brothers, Gerald (Dareama) Overby and Shane (Kim) Overby; several nieces and nephews; and favorite companions, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Gabriele.
Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial: Family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos Ave., Springfield, until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Very Rev. Daniel Bergbower, celebrant.
Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
