Nancy C. Howard-Higgins, 51 of Springfield died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, November 27, 2003 at Memorial Medical Center. Nancy was born February 26, 1952 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, daughter of Edward G. and Edna Howard She married Michael Higgins on August 31, 1982 in St. Louis, MO. Nancy was a chef and co-owned Maldaner’s Restaurant with her husband, Michael. She is survived by her husband, Michael Higgins of Springfield, parents: Edward G. and Edna Howard of Fort Thomas, KY, three brothers: Robert (wife, Dawnyelle) Howard of Fort Thomas, KY, Edward Paul Howard of Cincinatti, Ohio and Dennis (wife, Peggy) Howard of Fort Thomas, KY, two nieces: Molly and Jessica. A memorial mass will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2003 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Chiola celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
