Nancy C. Lasch

Nancy C. Lasch, 72, of Springfield, died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born on March 28, 1932 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of William H. and Vaughn O’Neal Hastings. She married Robert Lasch in 1957 in South Bend, IN, and he preceded her in death. Nancy was a graduate of the Memorial Hospital Nursing Program in South Bend, IN. She worked as a psychiatric nurse at Memorial Medical Center from 1980-1990, at Doctor’s Hospital from 1990-1992, and retired in 1992 after twelve years of nursing. She was past president of the Civic Newcomers. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Nancy is survived by twin sons, Bruce Lasch and Bryan Lasch, both of Springfield; a daughter, SuAnne Lasch, of Dallas, TX; a granddaughter, Amber Carr of Dallas, TX; and one sister, Suzanne Liss, of Hollywood, CA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8:00 p.m on Friday, August 27, 2004 at the Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 South 6th Street, Springfield. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center following the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Sangamon Valley Chapter, 1025 S.
