Nancy Caroline Mosley

She was born Jan. 3, 1914 in Springfield, the daughter of Walter A. and Kathryn Maude Saylor Townsend. She married William L. Mosley and he preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Philip Townsend, Mark B. Townsend and Richard W. Townsend and by a sister Mary Tilley and brother in law Larue Tilley.

Nancy was an 80 year member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, King's Daughters and was a charter member of both the Boy's Farm and Powder Puff Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Sue Mosley of Springfield; nephew, Mark Robert(wife, Patricia) Townsend of Springfield and sister in law's, Ada Townsend, Eleanor Mosley and Kate Mosley.

The family is being served by Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel where friends may call Thursday Feb. 21, 2008 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery 11:00 AM Friday Feb. 22 ,2008 with Rev. Mark Merrill officiating.
