

Mrs. Langley was born on Aug. 10, 1923 in Springfield, the daughter of Frank C. and Irene DeLong Price. On June 13, 1942 she married Gordon R. Langley. He preceded her in death in 2003. Also preceding her in death were her daughter-in-law, Susan Langley; grandson, Jeremy Langley; and two sisters, Roberta Phillips and Lavina Robinson.
She was a member of Northside United Methodist Church for over 65 years where she was a Sunday school teacher and MYF leader. Over the years she worked at International Shoe Factory, Springfield School District 186 in the cafeteria, and as a homemaker. She also volunteered at Senior Citizens of Springfield for over 30 years.
Mrs. Langley enjoyed making rag rugs, and quilts. She had a love for flowers, life and especially her family.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond (Janet) Langley, Everett (Anna) Langley both of Springfield, and Frank Langley of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 14 at the funeral chapel with Pastor Ken Gennicks. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
