Nhi T. Pham

She was born on Feb. 23, 1927, in Saigon, Vietnam, the daughter of the late Vo Van Dong and Pham Thi Tan. She married Le Van Ky in 1942 in Thu Duc, Vietnam and he preceded her in death in 1981.

She was a homemaker in Vietnam, and came to the United States in December of 1989, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2002. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing cards.

She is survived by 7 children, JoAnne Phuc Edmonson, Anh Nguyet Le, Vu Hoang Le (Trang Pham), Anh Hong Le (Loc Tran), Anh Suong Le (Billy Chi), Lam Hoang Le (Linh) and Kieu Trinh Le (Tuong); 13 grandchildren, John (Carrie) Edmonson, Tammy (Shane) Bumgarner, Kim Vy (Luke) Williams, Kim Vuong Le (Wesley James), Thao Le, Jennifer Le, Jessica Le, Tracy Le, Richard Le, AnhThu Tran, GiaQuan Chi, Vinny Le, and Tessa Le; 10 great-grandchildren, Ashley Musson, Jesse Bumgarner, Elly Shepherd, Bailey Jennings, Callie Edmonson, Jocelyn Bumgarner, Annabelle Patterson, Addie Patterson, Maya Williams, and Miles James.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 7 children, Pham Ba Cang, Le Van Quy, Le Hoang Son, Le Hoang Kiet, Le Thi Anh Tuyet, Le Hoang Minh, and Le Hoang Hai; and 1 grandchild Le Phuc Kieu My.

Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at 9 am with visitation immediately following until 12 Noon. Cremation rites will then be accorded.
