He was born January 7, 1951, to Rita Rose Thomas and Randolph Thomas. His parents preceded him in death. He leaves behind a wife, Donna Vickrey of Springfield; a daughter, Emily Vickrey of Springfield; and a grandchild, Connrad Petroski of Springfield. He leaves behind 4 sisters as well. He also leaves behind several furry kids.
Duck loved to go NASCAR racing, cooking out, and he loved his job. He was a siding applicator for 50 plus years and took pride in every job he did. He loved his work, but he also loved his family immensely and cherished every moment he spent with his wife. He took pride in the home he and his wife had built together and always enjoyed showing it off. He always had a great sense of humor and kept that until the very end. He also adored his cats and loved caring for them. He worked hard, loved hard, and played hard.
