Norma Jean Hewitt-Clotfelter

Norma Jean Hewitt-Clotfelter, 72, of Springfield, passed away at 5:58 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2001 at Memorial Medical Center. Norma was born June 30, 1929 the daughter of George and Iva Ludwig Toepfer in Springfield. She married Lloyd Hewitt in 1944 he preceded her in death in 1974. She later married Robert Clotfelter in 1978 in Springfield. She worked the switchboard for the State of Illinois and the Secretary of State. She was preceded in death by parents and her first husband, one daughter, Kay Katherine Nolan and one granddaughter, Samantha Clotfelter. She is survived by her husband: Robert Clotfelter; one brother: George (wife, Barb) Toepfer of Girard, IL.; two sons: Dale Lloyd (wife, Cindy) Hewitt of Springfield, Johnnie Ray (wife, Linda) Hewitt of Springfield; one daughter: Coni Jean Wardell of Acworth, GA; three stepsons: Robert (wife, Staci) Clotfelter of Springfield, Scott (wife, Yolanda) Clotfelter of Springfield, Mike Clotfelter of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren: Janice Elaine LeBeane, Tracy Lynn Wardell, Brian Jeffrey Hewitt, Rebecca Sue Tobias, Cory Lynn Hewitt, Curtis Joe Clotfelter, Daniel Paul Clotfelter, Jenna Jean Clotfelter; two great grandchildren: Amanda Ke LeBeane, Angela Marie LeBeane and two great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2001. Funeral services will be at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2001 with Reverend Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
