Norma Frances Jordan, 76, of Springfield, passed away on March 24, 2016. Norma was born on August 19, 1939 in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas and Frances Mary Bazar Liner. Norma retired in 1992 after 27 years of service to IL Department of Corrections. She is survived by her daughter, Toni Fisher of Florida; three grandchildren, Angella Fisher Caplinger, Adam Fisher, and Nick Fisher, all of Lincoln; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Thomas Liner of Springfield; daughter-in-law, Linda Fisher of Greenview; and two cousins, Sue Tin and Connie Klutnick, both of Springfield. Her son Martin James Fisher preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League or the IL Humane Society. Private family ceremonies will be held.
