Norma Young, 88, of Jacksonville, passed away on Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Prairie Village Healthcare in Jacksonville. She was born on April 28, 1926 in St. Louis, MO., to Matthew and Grace Davis Stenson. She married Harold Young in Springfield on March 17, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Mrs. Young is also survived by two daughters: Gayle Stucker of Jacksonville and Bonny (companion Scott) of Springfield, three grandchildren: Matthew and James Scott, and Michael Stucker, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Dean Stucker.
Norma was a member of Westside Christian Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday November 6, 2014 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road, with burial to follow at Chatham Cemetery.
