Otilie "Lee" Rosemary Wietczak, 69, of Springfield, died at 2:28 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her home. Lee was born November 14, 1947 in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of Mieczyslaw "Matt" and Marianne Veit Wietczak. She was employed with the State of Illinois Department of Revenue and was a member of the former Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She "lived her life to serve the Lord" and she is now in His loving arms. Lee was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, George (wife, Dolores) Wietczak of Springfield; niece, Melissa Wietczak-Chambers of Springfield; nephew, Michael Wietczak of Springfield; great-nieces and nephews, Kourtlyn, Garret, Chelsey, Isabelle, and Jack; and great-great-niece, Allayna. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Funeral Mass: 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Calvary Chapel, 2001 N. 1st St., Springfield with Rev. Scott Thelander, S.J.C., celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
