

Parma Mizeur Williams, 49, of Springfield, died at 6:22 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Parma was born on December 6, 1964 in Springfield, the daughter of George and Mable V. Nudo Blackburn. Parma was well-educated in many different fields, including Early Childhood Education, Anthropology, Botany, Psychology, and Biology. She enjoyed volunteering at the Animal Protective League and was involved in helping the disabled. She enjoyed sharing good times with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jon Blackburn; and two sisters, Evelyn Ryder and Judy Horn. She is survived by three sons, Jeff, Matthew, and Mark Mizeur, all of Springfield; two daughters, Caitlin (companion, Joseph Traylor) Mizeur of Springfield and Isabelle Williams of Morrisonville; three grandchildren, K'leeonna Traylor, Jayla Traylor, and Audrianna Mizeur; and siblings, George N. Jr., Ronald B., Vern, and Rodney J. Blackburn, and Bobbi Jean Baker. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the ceremony at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
