

Patricia J. Maher, 55, of Springfield, died at 9:00 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2005 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Patricia was born April 10, 1949 in Carlinville the daughter of Morris and Eula Selhime Stults. She married Lawrenvce J. Maher, November 22, 1969 in Springfield. Mrs Maher was a registered nurse for St. John’s Hospital in the Labor and Delivery Department for 35 years. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector and a member of the GIFT Community. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence J. of Springfield; three sons: Matthew of Waverly, Mark (wife, Grace) of Auburn and Mitchell Maher of Springfield; five daughters: Marlene (husband, Michael) Ribaudo of St. Louis, MO, Melanie (husband, Gregory) Janssen of O’Fallon, MO, Monica Maher (companion, Joshua Imig) of Springfield, Mara (husband, Jeffery) Hollis of Springfield, Meredith Maher of Springfield; mother: Eula Stults of Palmyra; nine grandchildren; four sisters: Carol (husband, Don) Munro of Angleton, TX, Judy (husband, Joseph) O’Brien of Palmyra, Melissa Tarver of Palmyra, Mary (husband, Ken) Walbert of Shreveport, LA; one brother: Norman (wife, Phyllis) Stults of Springfield and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 4-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Adlai Stevenson Dr., Springfield with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Church of the Little Flower with Fr.
