Patricia Rose Reilly

Patricia Rose Reilly, 74, of Springfield, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Patricia was born in Springfield, the daughter of Jerome and Lillian (Otto) Reilly on May 5, 1944. She graduated from Little Flower Grade School, Sacred Heart Academy, St. Johns School of Nursing, Class of 1965, and received her bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of St. Francis. Throughout her career in nursing, she was employed by St. Johns Hospital, Seventh Day Adventist in Orlando, FL and Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She enjoyed traveling and reading. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Reilly; and infant son. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Reilly of Springfield; sisters, Jo Ann (Mickey) Gossett of Fairview, TN and Rita (Rick) Ham of Decatur; one brother, John (Jane Wilhelm) Reilly of Riverside; three nieces, Kimberly (David) Perego of Austin, TX, Karen (Steve) Doerr of Fairview, TN, and Cadet Carrie Reilly at West Point Military Academy; four nephews, Daniel Ham of Decatur, Adam Ham of Decatur, Matthew Ham of Charleston, and James Reilly of Riverside; great-nieces and nephew, Reilly and Taylor Doerr and Lauryn and Dax Perego; and many cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Ceremony and Memorial Gathering: 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. A memorial gathering will follow until 6:00 p.m. Private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
