Patricia Harnett Sweet

Patricia Harnett Sweet, 77, of Springfield passed away at 4:25 p.m. Friday August 31, 2001 at Memorial Medical Center. She was Born on June 25, 1924 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of William and Mary Clouse Harnett. She married Dean Stewart Sweet on August 6, 1943 in Paris, Tx. He. preceded her in death in 1987. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Dean Stewart Sweet, brother Robert James Harnett, Sisters: Delores Napolilli and Rosemary Harnett. She is survived by a Son Roger Sweet (Wife Nancy) of Springfield. Daughters: Georgia Sweet Dirksen (Husband George) of Springfield and Barbara Sweet Dugan (Husband Ron) of Glendale AZ. Grandchildren: Patricia Dirksen of Chicago, Elizabeth DuVall (Husband Michael) , Andrea (Husband Michael) Schadow, Michael Sweet and Allison Sweet all of Springfield. Brothers: William Harnett of New Mexico and Charles Harnett of Tennessee. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 6, 2001 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Rev. Richard Chiola officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Land of Lincoln Chapter, 6 Drawbridge, Springfield, Illinois 62704.
