Patricia Vidamour

Patricia Vidamour, 96, of Springfield, passed away on September 7, 2026 at St. John’s Hospital. Pat was born on December 2, 1929 in Springfield to Hall and Elizabeth Kochendorfer Vidamour. She was preceded in death by one brother James Vidamour.

Pat is survived by one niece, two nephews and many friends.

Patricia was a graduate of Feitshans High School and attended Illinois State University. Pat was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and participated in Bible Study. She retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company (AT&T) after thirty-three years and then worked at Security Savings and Loan. Pat was a private pilot, she earned a commercial license with an instrument rating and started flying at age nineteen. She enjoyed tennis, golf, politics and spending time with her family, especially her Scottie and Westies.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday September 15, 2026 at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2744 West Washington, Springfield, IL. 62702.
