Patricia Williams, 87, of Springfield, died at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at her home. Patricia was born May 27, 1928 in Girard, the daughter of Herbert Troy and Gladys D. Whitis Dennis. She married Arthur Williams on May 26, 1955 in St. Louis, MO; he preceded her in death on July 13, 2013. Patricia was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, eating out, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Beverly K. DeBarr; grandchildren, Michael Thomas Nelson and Joyce Ann Taylor; and brother, Bernard Roderick. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Williams and Dennis Bolton; three daughters, Diane (husband, Greg) Wheeler, Carol (husband, Don) Nelson, and Jeannie Williams (companion, George Endris); 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ceremonies are being planned for a later date by the family. Burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
