

Paul David "Dave" Denson, 77, of New Berlin, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan, IL. Dave was born on September 3, 1941 in Gifford, IL the son of Robert Paul and Hazel F. Wallace Denson. He married Mildred "Millie" Peecher on August 5, 1961; she preceded him in death on October 18, 2012. Dave served his country in the United States Navy from 1958-1962. He worked as mechanic at Fiat Allis for 15 years. He enjoyed HAM radio, watching westerns, and was an avid Cubs fan. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jon Kaydus; his parents; and his sister, Carolyn McQuilham. He is survived by his son, David (wife, Meg) Denson of Springfield; daughter, Lea (husband, George) Kaydus of Glenarm; four grandchildren, Nikki (fianc, Bryan McConnell) Morgan, Abby Kaydus, and Ryan and Sarah Denson; two great-grandchildren, Camden Morgan, Leighton Denson (and one on the way); and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Ceremony: 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Woodwreath Cemetery with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Department of Defense.
