

Paula L. Nation, 64, of Springfield, went to be with her Lord after a long illness on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Paula was born October 1, 1946 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Ardella Hornback Ozellis. Paula was a 1964 graduate of Lanphier High School and retired from St. John's after 29 years of service as a clerk. She was a member of Clementine Presbyterian Church and enjoyed shopping, going to church, listening to music and collecting angel figurines. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William Nation. She is survived by a son, Jason Nation of Springfield; two sisters, Mary Jo Ozellis of Springfield and Donna Grady of Rochester; nephew, Matt Grady of Rochester; two aunts, one uncle and several cousins; and her two cats, Whitey and Minnie. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
