

Pauline E. Bond, 82, of Springfield, passed away at 3:00 am Wednesday November 17, 2010 at St. John's Hospice.
She was born in Pana, IL December 11, 1927 the daughter of Martin and Mary Cutler Eck. Her parents, a brother, and two sisters preceded her in death.
Pauline retired in 1992 from Springfield School District 186 where she served as a purchasing agent. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the LR Chapter of the PEO Sisterhood, Red Hats Society, and various Bridge Clubs. She was a volunteer at Memorial Medical Center for 16 years and served as an usher at the Sangamon Auditorium.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (husband Robert) Nowak of Friendswood, TX., four sons; Michael (wife Debra) Bond of Chatham, IL, Edward (wife Phyllis) Bond of Bloomington, IL, Richard (wife Betty) Bond of Union, NJ, and Robert (wife Ann) Bond of Springfield, IL, 14 grandchildren 1 great grandchild, her sister, Mary Lambert of Holland, MI., and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation Rites will be accorded by Bisch Crematory.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday November 19, 2010 at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL Rev. Tasha Blackburn will officiate. Inurnment will be private in the Westminster Presbyterian Garden.
In lieu of flowers, those that wish may direct memorial contributions in her memory to the Westminster Presbyterian Church 533 S. Walnut Springfield, IL 62702.
