Peggy Louise Orr

Peggy Louise Orr, 72, of Springfield, formerly of Mexico, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2000 at her residence. Mrs. Orr was born April 25, 1928 in Mexico, Missouri the daughter of Pearl and Eugenia Jesse Janes. She married Max Neil Orr August 20, 1948. Mrs. Orr was a homemaker and she was a member and very active with the Cachet Club. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Rita Allen Hill and a brother: Donald Janes She is survived by her husband: Max Neil Orr of Springfield, IL; two daughters: Debra K. (husband, John) Lorenson of Chatham, IL, Karen Lynn (husband, David) Molli of Asheville, North Carolina; a brother: Paul Janes of Lane, Kansas; a sister: Patsy Kossmann of Mexico, Missouri; four grandchildren:several neices, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2000. Funeral services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery, Mexico, Missouri, 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 20, 2000 with the Reverend Jerry Ostrom officiating.
