She was born on March 14, 1950, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Louie S. and Noi Elizabeth (Spears) Williams. Peggy married Steve Randle on December 22, 1972, in Bingham, IL.
Peggy graduated from Ramsey High School in 1968. She went on to work as a lead operator for the Illinois Secretary of State for 35 years. Peggy was a member of the General Grand Chapter - Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed bike riding, cooking, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Richard and Bobby Williams.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Steve Randle of Springfield; daughters, Shelly (John) Goodwin of Barrington and Leah (Andy) Gibbs of Edwardsville; grandchildren, Cole Goodwin, Allie Goodwin, and Zackery Gibbs; and siblings, Dale (Judy) Williams of Bingham and Patrick Williams of Hillsboro.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 S. Grand Ave. W., Springfield. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
