Infant Peter Samuel Bassett was born and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Carol Jo Vecchie Center at St. John’s Hospital. Peter is survived by his father and mother, Neil S. and Kelly E. Bassett of Springfield; one brother, Benjamin Bassett of Springfield; paternal grandparents, Eric and Wendy Bassett of the United Kingdom; maternal grandparents, Al and Pat Hymans of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family welcomes friends to join them for ceremonies at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 533 S. Walnut St., Springfield. Inurnment will take place at the Westminster Presbyterian Church Columbarium. Memorial contributions may be made to Carol Jo Vecchie Center at St. John’s Hospital, 800 E.
