

She was born July 5, 1915 in Bristol, CT the daughter of Dwayne W. and Mildred Biggers Beach.
Phoebe was a graduate of Bristol High School. In 1935 she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. She was a WWII Veteran, serving as a dental hygienist in the US Navy, then moving to New York City where she continued working as a dental hygienist, until she met and married Thomas Edward Wyatt. They were married in 1959 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Miami, FL. They later relocated to the Inverness, FL area. In recent years she moved to Springfield, IL to be closer to her family.
Phoebe was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved pets, travel, and gardening, was an avid reader, and took great pleasure in her family.
She is survived by three children, Barbara (Clark) Olson, Thomas (Susan) Wyatt, and Jon Wyatt. She is also survived by four granddaughters, Ruth (Adam) DeVries, Catherine, Cindy, and Patricia, as well as one grandson, Jon, and several great grandchildren, including Gace DeVries and Mike DeVries. Phoebe is also survived by her nephew, Richard (Carol) Carlson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas and one grandson, Thomas Clark Olson, as well as her sister, Frances Carlson, and brother, Walton (Bud) Beach.
Service will be private for the family.
Phoebe was an animal lover, and she and Tom especially loved their cat, Marmalade. The family request donation be made, in her memory, to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd, Springfield IL 62702
