Phyliss A. Green

She was born in McAlester, OK, on September 20, 1950, the daughter of Raymond and Julia (Clinton) Ramsey. Phyliss married John W. Green in Springfield on November 2, 1968. Together, they created a lifetime of memories and love over 58 wonderful years of marriage.

Phyliss graduated from Springfield Southeast High School with the class of 1968. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping with her grandkids, watching TV, garage sales (especially Spoon River Drive), and was a Mickey Mouse fanatic. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and was proud of her Indian heritage.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Ramsey; son, John William Green, III; nephew, Dink Ramsey; and brothers, Alfred Scott Ramsey and Kip Ramsey.

Phyliss is reunited with her gal pals in Heaven: her mother-in-law, Betty Green; and aunts-in-law, Rosie Robinson and Rita Barlow.

She is survived by her husband, John W. Green; mother, Julia (Clinton) Ramsey; daughter, Kris (Paul) Eisenbrandt; grandchildren, Weston (Mariah) Green, Amber (Braden) Brown, Zowee Eisenbrandt, and Steeler Eisenbrandt; great-grandchildren, Hadley, Lena, John, and Ivy-Lou; beloved dogs, Precious and Mickey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
