Rebecca Young

Rebecca Young, 44, of Springfield, died at 7:48 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on January 2, 1962 in Reno, Nevada, the daughter of Oliver and Sandy Arthur Young. Rebecca was a loving, considerate and happy lady. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her beloved dog Ozzie. She is survived by one son: Charlie Judge of Illiopolis; two daughters: Janice (husband, Darren) Barr and Jessica (companion, Bobby Anders) Watkins both of Springfield; her mother: Sandy Young of Virginia, IL; her father Oliver “Chill” Young of Springfield; one grandson: Camden Anders; one sister: Debra Moscardelli of Virginia, IL and three nephews: Rich, Travis and Mason Moscardelli all of Springfield. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, with Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
