Retta J. Eller

Retta was born on August 15, 1980, in Springfield, the daughter of John Eller and Kathie (Strauss) Vlahos.

She graduated from Rochester High School and attended Lincoln Land Community College and Colorado Mesa University. Retta earned a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate as well as an Optician Certificate. She previously worked as a CNA for Memorial Medical Center and had also worked for the DMV. Retta was a talented seamstress and liked to study, design, and create period pieces. She also made costumes for the Magic Circle Theater in Montrose, CO. Retta enjoyed doing all kinds of creative crafts and she loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Cathy Eller.

Retta is survived by her mother, Kathie (husband, Bob) Vlahos of Montrose, CO; father, John (wife, Nancy) Eller of Olympia, WA; brothers, John (wife, Joey) Eller of Yelm, WA, and Michael (wife, Jessica) Eller of Tucson, AZ; aunt, Lindakay Strauss; uncle, Charles Strauss; niece, Oliva Eller; nephew, Jake Eller; and family friends, Fred and Sheri Wrightam of Rochester, IL.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
