Richard O'Brien Jones

Richard O’Brien Jones, 28, of Decatur formerly of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Richard was born on April 27, 1987, in Springfield, IL, the son of Ronnetta Jones and Phillip Tally.

Surviving Richard are his parents; Ronnetta Jones of Springfield, Phillip Tally of Centralia, IL, his children; Antonio Santerelli and Adele Jones both of Springfield, sister Jasmine Jones, brother Alexander Jones both of Springfield, grandmother Mary Jones of Springfield, great aunt Carolyn Collins of Springfield, companion Ocamie Outlaw of Decatur, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by a brother DeShawn Jones, grandfather Ronald Jones, and grandmother Lucinda Tally.

Richard graduated from Southeast High School in 2005, he worked for Mueller Co. in Decatur. Outside of work he loved to ride his motorcycle, was a huge movie and video game buff, and loved to spend time with his kids. Richard formerly belonged to and trained with Warrior Concepts.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 E Allen St., Springfield, IL, 62703. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday, June 27, 2015, from 2 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 4 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded at a later date.
