Rita R. Kelly, 76, of Springfield, IL formerly of Chatham, IL and Aurora, CO, passed away peacefully, July 5, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, with her family by her side. She was born near Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Ervin H and Alma Thomsen Rohwedder. She married Joseph Mastin in 1994 and he preceded her in death in 2000. Her son, Matthew also preceded her in death in 2005. She lived in Colorado for many years and managed apartments in several complexes. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Lori L Kelly of Auburn, IL; son, Michael D. Kelly of Springfield, IL; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Donna Wickham of Minneapolis, MN; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Cremation rites will be accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois in Chatham. Private family services will be held. Burial of the urn will be in Niblick Cemetery in Logan County, Illinois, beside Matthew, her son.
