Robert E. Draper

Robert “Bob” E. Draper, 66, of Springfield, died at his home on Sunday, September 23, 2012. Bob was born on March 9, 1946, the son of Betty Jane and William Draper. Bob was an electrician for the family business Draper Electric. He was a veteran of the US Army and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He really enjoyed being with his family, and fishing and hunting. Bob is survived by his wife; Janice Draper, a son; Robert Draper Jr.(wife Lisa), his mother, brothers; Bill, Sam, and John Draper, and a sister Janet. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Doris Ritz. A memorial service will be held on,Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at 10 am with pastor Milton Bost officiating, at Pasfield Baptist Church, 411 West Lenox. Springfield, IL 62704, where Bob was a member. Inurnment will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to the Pasfield Baptist Church Pantry, 411 West Lenox. Springfield, IL 62704.
