

Robert F. Hall, 70, of Bluffton, SC died at 11:14 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008 at his home. Robert was born February 6, 1937 in Springfield, IL the son of Robert T. and Irene C. Zaccagni Hall. He married Linda Fontaine on March 14, 1992 in New York City. Robert was raised 4 1/2 miles south of Loami, IL, the 6th generation of the Hall family to live on the land settled in 1828. He graduated from Waverly High School and attended Eastern Illinois University. Robert served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of their Drum & Bugle Corps, stationed in Washington, D.C. Formerly in the Illinois State Police, he later dedicated his professional career to the insurance industry. Robert's hobby was flying, and he flew his Gruman Tiger the morning of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert is survived by his wife, Linda of Bluffton, SC; one son: Greg (wife, Christine) Hall, of Roswell, GA; one daughter: Kim (husband, Mark) Pizzuto of New Jersey; five granddaughters: Alexandria, Haley, and Mallory Hall, of Roswell, GA and Jacquie and Allie Pizzuto of New Jersey; two brothers: Richard (wife, Jane) of Loami and Tom (wife, Susan) of New York City; one uncle: Al Zaccagni of Springfield; five nieces, four nephews, nine great nieces, four great nephews and many cousins. The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E Gibson in New Berlin. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 25, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Berlin with Rev. Angel Sierra celebrant. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami, IL with military honors provided by the Department of Defense. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 687 E.
