Robert R. Hinrichs, 80, of Springfield, passed away at 6:26 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Robert was born October 27, 1935 in Springfield, the son of Raymond Russell and Lydia Anne Hohimer Hinrichs. He married Carolyn J. Hunter on June 17, 1956 at Fifth Presbyterian Church in Springfield. Robert enjoyed going deer hunting, his horses, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hinrichs of Dawson; two daughters, Pamela (Steven) Bunch of Rochester and Patricia (David) Wynn of Elgin; and four grandchildren, Brendan and Adam Bunch and Elizabeth and Katherine Wynn. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Private family ceremonies will be held.
