Roberta D. Grove

She was born August 11, 1909 in Virden the daughter of Oscar Julius and Eula Dorothy Shipp Dunnigan. She married H. Leroy Grove Oct. 14, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Joann G. Dilts in 2003 and by a brother Virgil Dunnigan in 2005.

Mrs. Grove moved to Springfield in 1914 and graduated from Springfield High School in 1927. She graduated from Brown's Business College and worked as a secretary for both Lincoln Life Insurance Company and Northwestern Mutual Life. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her Son-in-Law, Stephen Dilts of Denver, CO.; two grandsons, Dr. Stephen Dilts,Jr. of Spring Grove,PA. and John Dilts of Broomfield, CO. and three great grandchildren, Thomas, Zoe and Evan Dilts all of Broomfield, CO.

Friends may call Wednesday May 16, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church from 9:30 AM until the time of services there at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
