Roberta Mabel Tucker Johantgen

She was born November 30, 1917 in Wheaton, IL to Robert and Hazel (Willard) Tucker. She married Chester R. Johantgen who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Willard, and grandson Trevor Saladino.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann Dalsin (Gerald) of Springfield and son, Harry W. "Skip" Bergmann, Jr. (Terri) of Ft. Myers, FL, 5 grandchildren; Trooper Saladino of Naperville, IL, Jeni Saladino Reilly (Kevin) of Parker, CO, Travis Saladino of St. Paul, MN, Ariana Joy and Jordan Hart Bergmann of Ft. Myers, FL, 5 great-grandchildren; Morgan and Jordan Saladino, Kathleen, Shannon and John Reilly.

"Bobbie" was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield and was a member of P.E.O. She was a retired educator where she taught English and Literature at Springfield Southeast High School for more than 30 years. She was a resident of Springfield since 1950. She was a graduate of Wheaton College, University of Illinois, Champaign, and Sangamon State University.

Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 18, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield. There will be a Memorial Service at 2:30 P.M., Dr. Lonnie H. Lee officiating.
