With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved baby boy Romeon, who spent his short but meaningful life surrounded by endless love. Though his time here was brief, he touched the hearts of everyone around him in ways words cannot fully express.
He was deeply loved by his mother, whose strength, love, and devotion carried him through every moment. He was also cherished by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many family members who loved him dearly from the very beginning.
Though gone too soon, he will always remain in our hearts, forever loved and never forgotten.
He is survived by his mother, RiCheara Banks; grandparents, Apollonia Clay and Richard Banks; and many aunts and uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL 62703.
