Ronald T. Kerr, 67, of Springfield, died at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Ronald was born October 3, 1947 in Springfield, the son of William and Lois Turner Kerr. He married Sandra Van Houten on December 7, 1964 in Saginaw, MI. Ronald was a graduate of Springfield High School. He was the rock and foundation of his family. He enjoyed his family and would do anything for anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Kerr. Ronald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Kerr of Springfield; daughter, Angie (husband, Doug) Silotto of Sherman; granddaughter, Kasie (husband, Ryan) Silotto-Depoorter; sister-in-law, Judie Kerr; and niece, Denise (husband, Jim) Larson. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
