

Roscoe G. Jasmon, Jr., 72, of Springfield, passed away at 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at St. John’s Hospital. Roscoe was born August 26, 1929 the son of Roscoe Gregory and Mary Myrtle Olmstead Jasmon, Sr. He married Audrey Rogers June 11, 1950 in Springfield. Roscoe was a painter for Fiat Allis for over 30 years. He was a member of Elliot Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching Nascar. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson: J.D. Jasmon and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Audrey of Springfield; two sons: Randy (wife, Laura) Jasmon of Mayfield, KY, Greg (wife, Donna) Jasmon of Springfield; one daughter: Patricia Langley of Springfield; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2002. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Homer Hanshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Wood Wreath Cemetery in New Berlin.
