

Rose Mary Molohon, 88, of Springfield, died at 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at her home. Rose was born August 8, 1927 in Athens, the daughter of Harry and Fanny Cole Gudgel. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Roy Langley in 1983 and Billy Molohon in 2013. Rose retired from the housekeeping department at St. John's Hospital and enjoyed cooking, crafts, reading, camping, and fishing. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Julia Langley; one daughter, Joan Smith; one son, Gale Langley; four sisters, Flossie Gudgel, Sara Buhl, Valore Paoni, and Kathern Carter; and three brothers, Charles B. Gudgel, Walter Gudgel, and George Gudgel. She is survived by eight children, George W. (wife, Patricia) Langley of the State of Virginia, Harriet Hennessey of Pickneyville, Cole (wife, Sue) Langley of Virden, James R. (wife, Barbara) Langley, Jr. of Cantrall, Lawrence R. (wife, Jackie) Langley of Springfield, Margaret E. (husband, Danny) Suter of Springfield, Myrna M. (husband, Dale) Shepard of Lawton, OK, and Mary L. (husband, Andy) Cleeton of Springfield; twenty-six grandchildren, Johnny Langley, Diane Berry, James Langley, Gale Langley, Jr., Michelle Langley (companion, Matt Vogte), Thomas Langley, Justin Langley, Kathy (husband, Kirk) Pierce, Matthew Kampfl, Christine Coban (Kenny Lloyd), Cathy (husband, John) Black, Heather Langley, Angela Langley, Danny Langley, Edward (wife, Nickie) Langley, Doug (wife, Katie) Langley, Samantha Suter, Danny Suter, Jr., Christopher Shepard, Mary Shepard, Stefanie Sanders (Martin Aguayo), Dale Jr. (wife, Beth) Ballinger, Sydney Cleeton (Daniel Sanders), Drake Cleeton (Darien Little), Shawn McGee, and Regina (husband, Adam) Smith Martin; thirty-five great-grandchildren, Andrew Langley, Tiffany Langley, Cassey Langley, Jesse Langley, Destini Tonko, Ivy Fleming, Amber Fleming, Kyle Pierce, Lucy Eisenhaurer, Delaney Pierce, Vanessa Pierce, Jenna Kampfl, Kara Kampfl, Laya Kampfl, Ricky Kampfl, Paul Coban, Toby Coban, Khloe Langley, Jeremy Sanders, Georgia Sanders, Kaleb Ballinger, Konnor Martin, Elizabeth Windchester, Josh Windchester, Bella Vogte, Matthew Vogte, Brooklyn McGee, Daniel Sanders, and Noah Sanders; eighteen great-great-grandchildren, Kalvin Langley, Sara Echard, Meloney Echard, Lily Langley, Hayden Babbitt, Haylie Flemimg, Harley Barbeau, Mackenzie Keebler, Allison Freeman, Arabella Jacobs, Devante Pierce, Jaedyn Pierce, Chase Pierce, Sallie Eisenhaurer, and Calvin Eisenhaurer; one sister, Betty Andreatta of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Creek Cemetery.
