Ruby M. Everett

Ruby M. Everett, 72, of Riverton, died at 12:55 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at her home. Ruby was born August 23, 1941 in Riverton, the daughter of Elbert and Mable Powell Weller, Sr. She married William G. Everett, Sr. on April 4, 1960 in Springfield. Ruby retired from St. John's Hospital after 25 years of service as a Clerk Receptionist. She was a member of Riverton Methodist Church. She enjoyed canvas painting and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Anthony Everett; two grandchildren, Jacob Klasinz and Robert Everett; sister, Mabel Hunter; and brother, Elbert Weller, Jr. She is survived by her husband, William; six daughters, Cynthia (James) Padilla, Schellei (Roger) Klump, Jaque Bounds, Patricia (Skip) Klasinz, Krystal (Scott Steiner) Maiers, and Tammy (Rick) Putnam; two sons, William (Kathy) Everett, Jr. and Timothy (Theresa) Everett; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Peter Weller and Rose Turley. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 9:30 -11:15 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
