Ruby Joyce Reilly

Ruby Joyce Reilly, 64, of Springfield, died at 5:36 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center. Ruby was born September 19, 1941 in Harvel, IL the daughter of Harold and Bernice Miller Mansfield. She married John Reilly on November 20, 1981 in Springfield. Mrs. Reilly was the central supply processor at Memorial Medical Center. She had also been a manager at White Hen Pantry and a waitress at Charlie’s Tavern for many years. Ruby loved her family and enjoyed ceramics and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather: Charles Brake and great grandson: Cameron Humphrey. She is survived by her husband: John Reilly of Springfield; three sons: Donald W. (wife, Carol) Nance, Sr. of Springfield, Harold Edward (wife, Susan) Nance of Staunton, IL and Donald E. (wife, Dawn) Nance of Pawnee; four daughters: Sheryl (husband, Richard) Humphrey of Tovey, IL, Sharon (husband, Tom) Turley of Loami, Pamela Jean (husband, Pat) Washum of Springfield and Barbara Lynn (husband, Anthony) Nudo of Pleasant Plains; three stepchildren: Gwen Kasumn of Urbana, Jason Reilly of Bement, IL and Jeff (wife, Danna) Anderson of Aurora, CO; thirty grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; one sister: Naomi Jean (husband, Richard) Dayney of Suncity West, AZ; three brothers: Charles (wife, Gidget) Mansfield of Renton, WA, Louis Dale (wife, Chris) Mansfield of Florissant, MO and James (wife, Kathy) Mansfield of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. Cremation accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Gennicks officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
