Sailor Lee Packard

Sailor was born on October 24, 2019 in Springfield, the daughter of Brandon Lee and Katie Louise Chevalier Packard.

Sailor was a happy baby known for her huge smiles and excited squeals. She loved her big sister, Quinn, always holding her hand. She was entertained by Mickey Mouse Club House, her dog Lucy, her Cinderella doll, keys, and stuffed moose. Sailor loved rubbing her hair and holding her lovie against her face, taking baths, eating green beans and oatmeal, and having a binky in her mouth. Her favorite song was Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Rene and Julie Chevalier, Marilyn Maxwell, and Wilma and Don Brandenburg.

She is survived by her parents, Katie and Brandon Packard of Pawnee; one sister, Quinn Packard of Pawnee; paternal grandparents, Todd Packard of Charleston, IL and Gala (companion, Mick Huckstep) Packard of Ashmore, IL; maternal grandparents, Terry and Bonnie Chevalier of Divernon; great-grandparents, Robert (wife, Sue) Maxwell of Ft. Myers, FL and Jodine Packard of Charleston, IL; two uncles, Jeromy (wife, Bobbi) Chevalier, and their children, Carly and Collin Chevalier, and Mickey (companion, Taylor Sloat) Packard, and their son, Jeffrey Packard; several great aunts, uncles, and cousins; and chocolate lab, Lucy.

Visitation: Family will receive relatives and close friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. Sixth St., Springfield. CDC guidelines will be followed allowing only ten people at a time inside the funeral home.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
