She was born June 8, 1942 in Louisiana, MO. the daughter of Raymond F. and Marcella (Sally) White Trippel.
Sally was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1960 and attended Iowa State University. She was employed by Dr. Milhon, DDS and later retired from American Savings and Loan.
She was an avid collector of Dolls and Bears and is survived by her two cats who were very dear to her. She was a member of the Springfield Women's Club, Red Hat Society and Questers.
She is survived by her son, Brent R. (Wife, Alia) Turner and two granddaughters Amaya and Zarina Turner all of Eugene, OR.
Friends may call Saturday Dec. 29, 2007 from 3 to 6:00pm at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.
