He was born on November 10, 1969, in Shreveport, LA. Scott graduated from Springfield High School in 1989. He went on to own Kulavic Cleaning for over 30 years, and was most-recently employed at Sam’s Club. Scott was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the KMA Racing online club. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music (classic rock, Foo Fighters, Shinedown), bowling, playing horseshoes, and driving around.
Scott is survived by his mother, Patricia “Pat” Kulavic of Springfield; children, Stephanie (Jeremy) Bounds of Dawson and Johnathan Kulavic of Springfield; grandchildren, Jesse Langley, Chloe Bounds, and Ariella Armstrong; significant other, Melissa Kulavic; siblings, Pam (Brad) Brooks, Jason (Elisabeth) Strother, Lori Hanson, Tony (Tinia) Kulavic, Cheryl (Fred) Knope, and Joseph (Victoria) Kulavic; foster father, Lynn (Susan) Currie; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. There will be a brief prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, following the Visitation.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 700 E. Spruce St., Chatham, with Rev. Kevin M. Laughery, J.C.L. officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
