Seena Ann Duncan

Seena never missed a yard sale and enjoyed sharing her found treasures with her family and friends. She was also an amazing cook and gardener. Seena was a member of Elliot Avenue Baptist Church for 50 years and she loved her community there so much. Her greatest joy in life though was being with her family; whether it was at Sunday family dinners, grandkids’ sports events, or sleepovers with her great-grandbabies, she always made sure to be present, full of so much joy and jokes, all while in bright colors and covered from head to toe in her favorite pieces of jewelry.

Seena is survived by her husband, Carl Bryant, her daughter, Sherri Sanderson (Mitch), her son, David Duncan (Misty), her grandkids, Meaghan (Michael), Emily (Tim), Lanie (Evan), and Evan, and her great-grandbabies, Posie, Atlas, Odessa, Isla, Esther, Elmah, Solomon, and Birdie. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Scott Duncan, her parents, and two siblings.

The Celebration of Life will be held at The Railyard, 2242 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703 on Sunday August 31, 2025 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. The Celebration of life is a come and go as you please style. Please come pay your respects and enjoy some refreshments while sharing stories of Seena with her family and friends. A private burial for the family will take place in the near future, in Missouri, for Seena to be laid to rest with her husband, the love of her life, Scott.
