Sharon Hill, 76, of Springfield, died at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Sharon was born November 18, 1937 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Margaret Lopian Maxwell. She married Cecil Hill on May 26, 1961. Sharon was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Hill of Springfield; one son, Jon (wife, Gwen) Hill of Houston, TX; one daughter, Stacy (husband, Steve) Fox of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Zachary and Trenton Hill, and Rebecca Fox; and one brother, Robert Maxwell of Ft. Myers, FL. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, with Rev. Aaron Schnelle officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
