Sharon Lee Kosmider, 59, of Springfield, died at 5:10 on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Sharon was born October 17, 1954 in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Helen Dorota Kosmider. Sharon retired from AT&T after 35 years as a Line Manager at O'Hare Airport in Chicago. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia in Chicago and enjoyed fishing, gardening and was an animal lover. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Gober and Lynn Udchick. She is survived by one daughter, Nicole (husband, Mark Lehmann) Amato of Springfield; one stepson, Dino (wife, Sharon) Amato of Chicago; two stepdaughters, Jamie (husband, Joseph) Pecoraro of Elmhurst and Candy Amato (companion, Mike Trevino) of Chicago; one granddaughter, Vivienne Elizabeth Lehmann; many step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. A memorial mass will be held at St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago at a later date.
