Sharon K. Young

Mrs. Young is survived by one brother Lee Young, two sister in law’s: Rose Young and Judy Young, two sons: Michael Young and Robert (partner Dawn Hermes) Young, Dawn's two children Justin and Sophia, one grandson Noah Young, three niece and nephews: Pam Hinckley, Aaron Young and Jeff Young, several great nieces, nephews and cousins, close family friends: Steve Shane and BJ Ostermeirer and her beloved dog Mr. Sparkles. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one brother Wayne Young.

Sharon was such a loving and caring mother to her two sons. Her dedication to them was inspiring. She always put her trust in the Lord to guide her throughout her life knowing that he will always provide.

Mrs. Young was always consistently and joyfully putting others’ needs ahead of her own and was always thankful for all things. She would always offer help and share whatever she had with anybody that needed help and never ask for anything in return. She will be forever greatly missed and thought of often with her amazing smile and positive outlook.

Being around family and friends was one of the things she really looked forward to most. Sharon was very involved rescuing and taking care of vulnerable pets and giving them a great home with her. She took great joy in seeing to their care and happiness. Sharon also loved to be in her yard gardening with her family and pets.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday November 6, 2026 at Roselawn Memorial Park.
