She was born on July 8, 1933, in Pittsfield, IL, the daughter of Lindsey and Loys (Vannatta) Aucoin.
Sherrill worked for the IL Dept. of Public Aid for 25 years. She loved gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sherrill is survived by her sons, Michael, Patrick (Sara), and Stephen Boren; grandchildren, Michael (Molly) Boren, Christopher (Shama) Boren, Sean, and Joshua; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside Ceremony: 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Calvary Cemetery, with Fr. Richard Chiola officiating.
