So sorry to hear about Shirley, she and my grandmother were really good frinds. Also I knew her from Church my prayers go out to the family.

My deepest sympathy to Chris and his loved ones.  It is one of the hardest and saddest grieve one can endure... loosing their Mom here on earth. May the almight God strenthen, heal and nourish you with all the beautiful blessing she bestowed on you.  She will always live in you.  May God bless and see you through this.  We love you all.

Your day has come.  The Lord has chose to bring you home.  He blessed your wait each and every day.  For He knew this day we would celebrate.  Your path He chose was harder than most.  From childhood to adulthood, you stood strong.  He watched you grow stronger and stronger.  For He knew He would keep you here a little bit longer.  You kept your faith and followed His path.  So that on this day, you would receive his Holy Grace.  There is no more disappointment, sorrow, or tears.  For Heaven has surely let you in.  So proudly wear your Golden Crown and rest in peace.  For Heaven is where you were truley bound.

Shirley, my third eldest sister has now departed from this earth to her final resting place. The road has not been easy for her but she gave a good fight.  Rest in peace now Sister-My Friend- My love.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Shirley was such a sweet woman. Even when things were difficult, she just kept persevering. She was an inspiration. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

We will never forget the beautiful lady who lived next door to the Chambers girls on 18th street.  Seems like it was just yesterday that Ms Shirley would invite us over for her great backyard hot dog roast, her delicious oatmeal raisin cookies, and S'mores, yum! In the early 70's I was blessed to work in the same office as Shirley.   I can't remember her ever saying anything bad about anyone.  She was a lovely lady and I was fortunate to know her.  My sympathy to all her family.
